Sports Massage is different to the usual massage experience.
It is not a predetermined one-size-fits all massage routine. Rather, it is a specific process of muscle and mobility rehabilitation.
First, I listen to the client’s concerns, and then I use touch to pinpoint their problem areas.
I feel where the pain or discomfort sits, determining what the cause might be by letting the body basically guide me.
Thereafter, I thoroughly release the affected muscles.
Regular sessions are recommended but I always prescribe further at-home exercises to help strengthen and improve mobility of the affected areas, allowing you to enhance your own long-term recovery and wellness.
I have widespread experience with treating various types of clients, from elderly people, working professionals with low activity to avid runners, ultra marathon runners, Iron Man triathletes, and multi-day cyclists (such as for the Cape Epic Mountain Bike Race).
45 or 60 minute sessions available at my studio in Maastricht or at Équipe gym.
